IEU Early Childhood Conference cancelled
It is with a heavy heart that the annual IEU Early Childhood Conference must be cancelled. Another casualty of the pandemic from the insidious virus, COVID-19.
The announcement the lockdown is to be extended until at least Friday, 30 July cemented our decision to cancel.
With only one week after the lockdown (as far as we know at the moment) to the conference the risk to go ahead was too great. Our priority is the health and safety of our members.
A refund of your ticket has been organised via Eventbrite. I would like to thank you all for your continued support of your Union for without you our annual conference could not go ahead. While we have cancelled the conference for 2021 our intentions are for a rescheduling, possibly the first half of 2022. Watch this space!
